Description / Overall purpose of the Job As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of craft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, continued operation of our aircraft through the responsibilities listed below. Responsibilities Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors. This is a certifying role that requires a Part 66 Licence in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft). Work as a team leader and uphold high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft. Apply working knowledge of UK CAA regulations, most importantly Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements. Complete maintenance on airframe structure, power plant, and mechanical and electrical systems, including replacement of avionic line‑replaceable units and simple tests to prove their serviceability. Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their work. Engage with the customer and positively represent the company. Knowledge and Skills Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer. Education, Qualifications or Training Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA) Currency on type: EC135 / BK117 C‑2 / BK117 D‑2 / BK117 D‑3 Type rated Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate. Additional requirements DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance. Meet any/all requirements of ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations. Travel within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements. Reward Competitive base salary. Equal time (7 day on / 7 day off) roster.
