Examples of the works involved are:Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments: managing frailty, falls and anything else that’s needed.Functional Rehabilitation: enabling our clients to maximise their independence and quality of lifeNeuro Rehabilitation:Housing and Equipment: Assessing, advising and arranging for housing needs, adaptations and equipment – whether large of small.Seating, Wheelchair and postural management: Assessment and advice to individuals and organisationsIndependent Assessments in cases of review, complaint or potential litigation.Mental Health: Anxiety management and managing memory problemsWe aim to keep your caseload as local as possible, and travel reimbursements apply for journeys beyond 6 miles.Please note: This is aself-employedrole, which may not suit everyone. If you’re unsure, we’d be happy to discuss the details with you.What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking ahighly skilled and experienced occupational therapistwith:️A strong background in any of the areas outlines in the job role️Substantial NHS or Social Services experienceas a qualified Occupational Therapist in the UK️A passion for delivering excellent carein a home settingEssential RequirementsBSc or MSc in Occupational TherapyMinimum of5 years post-graduate experienceNHS or Social Services (or similar) experiencein the UKHCPC and BAOT registrationUK Driving LicenceA warm, professional approach with a commitment to patient-centred careAn ability to write reports – really quite wellInterested?
