Clymac's Fire Alarm Engineers Engineers primarily maintain life‑protection systems (Fire Alarms, Portable Extinguishers and Emergency Lighting) and occasionally attend sites with security systems, in line with current standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities Maintain Fire Systems, Emergency Lighting and Portable Extinguishers in your assigned area. Carry out minor remedial works that arise during the maintenance visit. Plan routine maintenance calls within your area. Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits. Maintain your stock levels with support from your team leader. Attend training sessions to further your development. Attend weekly engineering team meetings. Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service. All engineers work our standard hours of 08:30 – 17:00. Our Systems Fire: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C‑Tec, Protec Emergency Lighting: Portable Extinguishers: Security systems: Requirements Who We're Looking For Hold relevant industry qualifications. Have proven experience in maintaining and servicing fire alarm systems. A desire to thrive in the Fire and Security Industry. Possess strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients. Highly organised. Excellent communicator. Have a full, clean UK driving licence. Are flexible and able to work on‑call or overtime as required (callout rota is currently 1 week in 10). Benefits Competitive Salary – up to £38,000. Engineering van provided – fully equipped.
