Exciting Opportunity for Experienced SEND TA in KempstonJoin to apply for the Exciting Opportunity for Experienced SEND TA in Kempston role at ASPIRE PEOPLE LIMITEDJob Title: Teaching Assistant (ASC, PMLD & Complex Needs)Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire (MK42)Rate: 90 - 115 per day (dependent on experience)We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Kempston supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and associated behavioural challenges. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in SEND settings, mainstream schools, or SEND units who is confident supporting learners with a wide range of needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and group support for students with ASC, PMLD, and complex behavioural needsAssist in managing emotional regulation and support de‑escalation where requiredHelp students transition calmly between environments and activities throughout the school daySupport personal care and mobility needs where necessaryWork proactively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure every learner has access to an inclusive, supportive environmentKey RequirementsPrevious experience working with children or young people with SEND, ideally ASC or PMLDConfidence using de‑escalation strategies and a calm, patient approach under pressurePhysically comfortable supporting learners who may require movement, personal care, or physical assistanceA positive, energetic attitude and willingness to adapt throughout a busy school dayStrong teamwork and communication skillsIf you are an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with complex needs, we would love to hear from you.To apply, send your CV or contact our recruitment team on (phone number removed) for more information.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
