Role: Primary School Teacher
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)
Start date: January 2026 / April 2026
Salary: £32,916–£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
About the role:
Heart of Supply is currently recruiting Primary School Teachers to support our partner schools in Market Rasen and the surrounding areas. These flexible roles offer day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, and longer-term placements across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You’ll gain experience in a range of school environments, delivering engaging lessons, following set plans, and helping to maintain consistency and a positive learning atmosphere in the absence of the usual class teacher.
We’re seeking confident and adaptable teachers who can quickly build strong relationships with both pupils and staff, manage behaviour positively, and bring energy and calm into the classroom. Ideal candidates will be reliable, proactive, and flexible, able to transition smoothly into new settings, whether supporting phonics in Reception or guiding a Year 6 class through revision.
About us / the schools:
At Heart of Supply, we work closely with a diverse range of local schools across Market Rasen and the surrounding areas, including welcoming primary schools, busy secondary settings, and specialist SEND provisions within inclusive academy trusts. Our partner schools are supportive, well-equipped, and dedicated to fostering positive experiences for both pupils and staff. Whether you’re keen to expand your experience or searching for a setting that truly suits you, we’ll support you in finding opportunities that align with your skills and goals.
What you will need:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
* A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
* The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
* Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
* A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK
What we offer you:
* Competitive weekly PAYE pay
* Roles tailored to your lifestyle, day-to-day or longer term
* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens
* Free CPD and ongoing professional development
* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme
* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey
We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
About us:
Heart of Supply is built on over 15 years of experience in education recruitment. We understand that behind every placement is a person with their own goals, values, and ambitions. Our mission is simple: put people first, always. Whether you're looking for flexibility, consistency, or your next big step, we take the time to understand your ‘why’ and match you with schools that genuinely value what you bring.
