This role will play a lead in safeguarding the business, accelerating customer adoption, and defending and further extending their position as world leader in their field of sustainable ingredients. Key responsibilities will be to: Shape global regulatory strategy by translating complex regulatory requirements into clear business opportunities and guiding management and customers. Drive authorisations by overseeing global registrations and relationships with authorities to ensure approvals and compliance. Lead and grow the regulatory team by mentoring staff with positive inspiration, developing their skills, recruiting new talent and overseeing external experts. Support customers by providing expert regulatory insight that strengthens partnerships and identifies new market opportunities. Protect and leverage company regulatory data to defend and extend market access. The Person We are looking for a driven strategic thinker who has an enquiring and creative approach. You must have a deep understanding of complex regulations; this could be agrochemical (PPP), chemicals (REACH), biocides or pharmaceutical. You must have the rare ability to *deep dive* into detail AND take a big‑picture view—connecting the dots to deliver commercial solutions to complex hurdles is key to this role. You will be an engaging communicator who can persuasively advise and influence colleagues, customers and regulators. You must be an inspiring leader who enjoys developing and leading from the front. You will have a background in regulatory affairs, ideally chemical but any regulated product area will be considered; there will be a long and structured hand‑over period in which you can build deep expertise in the specific regulations and products.
