DutiesAdministrative Support: Performing data entry, filing and document management to maintain accurate laboratory recordsSample Management: Receiving, logging and packaging patient specimens safely and in line with standard operating proceduresDigital Pathology: Supporting the scanning and reviewing of digital images to ensure clarity and diagnostic qualityQuality Assurance: Following all laboratory policies to maintain compliance and uphold service standardsTeam Assistance: Collaborating with pathologists and biomedical scientists to ensure workflow efficiencyDatabase Management: Updating patient and case information using laboratory computer systemsHealth & Safety: Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment and following all safety protocolsProfessional Development: Engaging in ongoing training and supporting continuous improvement initiatives Candidate RequirementsEssentialEnthusiasm to build a career within healthcare science or digital pathologyExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entryConfident using Microsoft Office, especially Word and ExcelStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionOrganised, adaptable and able to prioritise tasks effectivelyFull UK driving licence and access to own transportEligibility to work in the UKDesirablePrevious experience in an administrative or healthcare support roleKnowledge of laboratory computer systems or databasesAudio typing or transcription experienceFamiliarity with specimen reception or clinical laboratory processes BenefitsCompetitive salary of £25,700 per annumHealth insurance and pension planAnnual performance bonusOngoing training and professional developmentSupportive and collaborative team culture This role requires a DBS check NO AGENCIES PLEASE How to ApplyTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
