Job Overview We’re recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social‑emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a school located in Louth, Lincolnshire. This role is full‑time on a temp‑to‑perm basis starting immediately. Working hours are 08:30‑15:30 and you will predominantly work 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour. Responsibilities Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students. Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs. Create a safe learning environment for pupils. De‑escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships. Qualifications Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH. Passion for education. High level of resilience; energetic.
