This is an exciting fixed‑term secondment opportunity of 12 months to lead a team of neuro outpatient physiotherapists at the Princess of Wales Hospital, who also work out of Dewi Sant Hospital in Pontypridd. The post holder will independently plan and manage a complex daily caseload, ensuring patients are seen by the most appropriate healthcare professional. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day management of a multidisciplinary physiotherapy team, including clinical and clerical staff. Participation in recruitment, management of the waiting list, and undertaking annual appraisals of team members. Application of advanced neurological physiotherapy clinical reasoning skills to deliver evidence‑based care. Leading postgraduate education for physiotherapy colleagues and other professions, imparting specialist knowledge and acting as a mentor for junior staff. Conducting relevant research/audit projects, developing an advanced practice portfolio, and implementing best practice in line with National Guidelines. Adherence to professional code of conduct and maintenance of high standards of patient care. Qualifications Substantial experience in neurological physiotherapy and advanced clinical reasoning. Strong leadership and team‑management skills. Experience in research, audit, or portfolio development is desirable. Welsh language skills at Level 3 (CEFR B2) or above are desirable but not essential. UK or Republic of Ireland nationality is preferred; otherwise sponsorship for a Health and Care Visa or Skilled Worker Visa is required. Benefits Leading pension scheme. Generous leave entitlement.
