Psychologist – TipTopJob TipTopJob is seeking a committed Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The role involves specialist inpatient services for adults and older males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, and a specialist neuro‑cognitive and dementia care service for males presenting with agitated or aggressive behaviour. To be considered for this position you must hold a relevant qualification in Psychology and be registered with the HCPC. Key Responsibilities Identify and deliver appropriate treatments and interventions to promote mental, emotional, physical and social well‑being of clients; liaise with family and carers. Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertake assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme using appropriate treatments and activities. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring activities meet client needs and align with therapy plans. Manage an assigned caseload within agreed timescales, maintaining regular interaction with clients, professional colleagues and clinical staff. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records, including case notes, reports and other documentation, sharing relevant information at MDT meetings. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance, and assist with analysis of statistical data for research and audit. Candidate Profile Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate postgraduate qualifications. Approved supervisor within BPS guidelines and relevant division. Evidence‑based psychological practice and experience applying psychological knowledge in a clinical setting. Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits. Experience conducting research and project work. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: £40,000 pro rata.
