Landscape Planning Opportunities (Senior Architect to Associate Director) | Expression of Interest Our growing Landscape Architecture team has exciting opportunities (from Senior Architect/Planner to Associate Director) for experienced and enthusiastic Landscape Architects with Landscape Planning and LVIA experience to join us working on a broad range of prestigious landscape projects across the UK. These roles can be based in any of our UK offices (Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London, Reading, Warrington, Edinburgh) with hybrid working. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include carrying out landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs), providing strategic analysis and strategic green infrastructure advice, contributing to landscape-led masterplanning, and utilising landscape design skills where appropriate. About You Demonstrated experience in preliminary landscape and visual appraisals to inform the development process Completed landscape and visual impact assessments and LVIAs Conceptual and strategic design sketches as appropriate Experience with townscape and visual impact assessments, tall building assessments and strategic assessments of designations such as Green Belts and Strategic Gaps Landscape capacity and sensitivity studies and character assessments Input to Vision Documents, Design and Access Statements and Design Codes Track record of relevant work experience in a landscape architecture practice or on multidisciplinary consultancy projects Good knowledge of current UK planning and environmental assessment legislation Ability to develop designs, write reports and work confidently with industry software Possession of CMLI or progress on the Landscape Institute Pathway to Chartership (P2C) – support and mentoring will be provided About Stantec Stantec is an equal employment opportunity provider that prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
