Base pay range SENIOR MANAGER - GROUP REPORTING (DIRECTOR LEVEL EQUIVALENT) IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED | Top 100 Listed Organisation Hybrid (3–4 Days in LONDON HQ) Are you a Big 4 public accounting practice trained Senior Manager or Director with exceptional technical accounting expertise, now ready to bring your skills into a complex global organisation at the centre of major financial transformation? This is a rare opportunity to join a top 100 listed business as a Senior Manager, Group Reporting. Here you will play a central role in the Group Reporting function, you will collaborate with a high-calibre team to manage critical processes and contribute to financial excellence. This 6-month FTC contract (with strong possibility of converting to permanent) offers the chance to step straight into a high-impact role, with significant career growth and the opportunity to directly influence the financial narrative of a world-leading transformation company. The role reports into the Group Reporting Director. You must be available to start immediately. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Expertly managing complex accounting: Take ownership of technical accounting areas such as goodwill impairment testing, M&A accounting, hedging, leasing, and share-based payments, ensuring Group financial reporting is consistently best-in-class. Directing Group consolidation: Lead the comprehensive Group consolidation process, navigating diverse currencies, jurisdictions, and IFRS standards to produce accurate and timely financial statements. Innovating process improvements: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance reporting processes through technology, automation, and best practices, significantly boosting efficiency. Developing team capabilities: Mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a highly collaborative and productive work environment. Building strategic partnerships: Engage effectively with external auditors, senior management, and Group’s operating companies to ensure transparent communication and build strong, collaborative relationships. Ensuring robust compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to Group’s accounting policies, Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, and all applicable financial regulations. WHAT YOU NEED: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA). Big 4 public accounting experience – currently in a Senior Manager / Director role or already industry side, with 1–3 years industry experience having come from a Senior Manager or Director role within the big 4 public accounting practices. Extensive experience with complex, multi‑currency group consolidations and financial reporting for listed companies (UK premium and/or US listed preferred). Deep understanding of IFRS and Sarbanes‑Oxley. Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in complex areas. Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build consensus. A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
