This is evident in the exemplary behaviour that children show, which is commented on by the vast majority of visitors who come to Grange Farm. What is the job role? You will have responsibility for delivering high-quality PE and School Sports provision, with some additional cover teaching across the School. Experience of teaching whole classes is essential. We offer: Weekly PPA time, to plan PE Teaching and After School provision. Support from a dedicated PE Teaching Assistant. Commitment to your professional development. This role would be suitable for a teacher who wishes to make a career change or a HLTA who wishes to progress further. However, applications are welcome from other suitably qualified candidates. Note that this is a term time only role and annual leave is not permitted to be taken during the working weeks of this role. Who are we looking for? At Grange Farm, we are seeking to recruit a passionate PE Specialist to lead learning, support individual needs and inspire our school community. Ready to make a difference? We’d love to hear from you. Required skills: Knowledge of the National Curriculum for all subjects, in particular, Physical Education. Knowledge of the skills and techniques, rules and regulations in a range of Sports. In return, you will work within a dedicated PE and Sports team, alongside a PE teaching assistant. Regular CPD opportunities are offered throughout the year to ensure you continue to develop your skills and expertise. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
