We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for Maths and for teaching young people; the ability to inspire students; and the desire to go the extra mile to help our students achieve their full potential. The ability to teach Maths with either statistics or mechanics to A Level is required; although experience of doing so is not.Maths is viewed extremely positively by the students throughout the school. Results at GCSE are excellent; last year 92% achieved 4+ grades, 37% achieved 7+ grades. In the Sixth Form, we offer A Levels in Maths and Further Maths; both are popular courses and student outcomes are excellent; last year 96% achieved A\*-C in Maths and with 57% A\*-A grades.
