Senior Visual Merchandising Manager – Maternity Cover Position at Parfums Christian Dior, London. Reports to Visual Merchandising & Store Design Director, visual merchandising executive, intern and seasonal freelance project manager. Purpose: Design development & delivery of special projects, pop‑ups, events and fragrance & La Collection Privée launches across retailers, aligned with Global Head Office guidelines and brand vision. Manage projects within budget, on time and in full. Responsibilities Present and clarify complex aspects of visual merchandising projects to retailers and global headquarters. Manage budget in full across the year with constant review. Manage specific fragrance promotional activities outside Dior counters from start to finish. Define action plans and timings for each project, respecting required timescales and deadlines. Communicate closely with internal departments as needed. Ensure all project designs are in line with international visual guidelines and to the highest standard. Choose manufacturer offering best quality‑price ratio, monitor project before installation, ensure timing and budget respected. Work closely with visual merchandising executive and intern to ensure consistency across activations. Support regional field teams for installations & launches; reactive with VIP visits across flagship stores. Oversee all project installations, post‑install communication, and identify improvement opportunities. Key Competencies Strong ability to multi‑task and deliver in high‑pressure environment. Strong understanding and defense of brand DNA. Excellent communicator. Ability to anticipate, be reactive, plan & problem‑solve. Strong organisational skills & attention to detail. Creativity and aesthetic sense. Good negotiation skills. Highly competent with budget management. Previous experience in a similar role (5 years minimum). Technical Skills Proficient in Adobe Suite.
