Senior Care Assistant An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new state‑of‑the‑art care home opened in Holt, Norfolk. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health‑care providers. Key Responsibilities Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals Contribute to care planning and coach support workers Promote the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation Make realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications and Experience Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Genuine desire to care for others Good team player Good verbal and written communication skills Proven experience of working in a care setting Benefits and Salary Salary: £14.00 per hour (annual gross £26,208). Permanent, full‑time role, 36 hours a week on nights.
