Role overview We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, on‑brand campaigns, digital products, and visual assets from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse with a knack for managing operations and maintaining the highest standards of visual excellence while helping their Art Director on projects across the LIONS Division, particularly Cannes Lions and WARC. Key accountabilities Project management and execution Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of creative projects, ensuring they meet our high visual standards and adhere to brand guidelines. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets efficiently. Provide direction to junior members, guiding conceptual thinking for projects. Ensure a collaborative and productive work environment within the creative team. Stakeholder communication Serve as a deputy to the Art Director, handling complex creative challenges and engaging with multiple stakeholders. Work closely with stakeholders across the business, taking on feedback and setting boundaries for quality over quantity. Regularly update Senior Leadership and the Art Director on project progress and critical issues. Facilitate effective communication between departments and external partners. Creative strategy and innovation Contribute to the development of creative strategies that align with product objectives and market trends. Translate strategic thinking into beautiful, effective design. Reimagine brand guidelines across all landscapes. Create new identities for future product ventures that stand out while adhering to masterbrand guidelines. Collaborate with the studio team to develop video content and provide art direction. Art direction, quality control and brand consistency Uphold the highest standards of quality in all creative outputs and implement best practices. Ensure craft, consistency, and attention to detail across all touchpoints. Review designs and materials for quality and consistency. Provide hands‑on art direction to designers and artists. Work in‑house with copywriters to shape messaging and with video art direction to create mood and storyboards. Build presentations that communicate process, ideas and solutions. Produce visuals for subscription‑based products, including platform assets, marketing, festival assets and social media promotions. Maintain consistency and responsiveness of content across multiple platforms. Develop design concepts that translate to contemporary digital executions and marketing materials. Ensure all creative work is on‑brand and resonates with the target audience. Qualifications Conceptual design thinking and a high level of consistency. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, able to navigate feedback. Ability to design across all stages of a project – from concept to completion, art direction to brand systems, across any touchpoint. Fully understands the brand’s visual identity, ensuring creativity and consistency across all channels. Strong portfolio of high‑impact, consumer‑facing work demonstrating typographic, layout, hierarchy and technical skills across digital and print. Experience collaborating with Art Directors and the creative team. Experience supporting Junior Designers with peer‑to‑peer feedback. Self‑driven, proactive and keen to learn new skills. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects. Knowledge of Figma a bonus. Knowledge of motion graphic and video editing a strong plus. Ability to positively interact with creative and marketing teams. Interest in current industry trends and techniques. Excellent organisational skills, capable of handling multiple projects and producing high‑volume work within tight deadlines. Self‑motivated, team player, comfortable following directions and receiving feedback. At least 4 years of experience as a creative in the industry.
