Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). Create and maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment that supports individual learning and emotional wellbeing. Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet EHCP targets and individual education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic pupil development. Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, providing feedback and support to both students and parents. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting independence and confidence in each learner. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching or supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other SEN needs (Primary or Secondary background considered). Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, adaptable teaching approach. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
