PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR – SENIOR ROLE / PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITY Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: £65,000 – £90,000 + Bonus QED Legal is recruiting for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a prestigious, Legal 500-ranked law firm in Hertfordshire. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced solicitor ready to take the next step into Partnership with a firm known for its excellent culture, strong reputation, and clear path for career progression. The Role: You will join a well-established and high-performing Private Client department, working on a full spectrum of matters, including: Wills and estate planning Probate and estate administration Lasting Powers of Attorney Trust creation and administration Tax planning (Inheritance Tax, CGT) Advising HNW individuals and families You will also take on a leadership role, helping to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the strategic direction of the department. Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a solicitor who: Has 6+ years' PQE in Private Client law Is confident managing a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Tax matters Has a keen interest in career progression to Partnership Ideally holds a STEP or SFE qualification (or working towards it) Demonstrates commercial awareness, client care, and team leadership skills If you're an ambitious Private Client Solicitor looking for a clear path to Partnership in a well-respected, top-tier firm, this is not an opportunity to miss.
