About The Role Lead fire safety inspections and risk assessments, offering practical, specialist advice. Shape the way we work by interpreting and applying codes, standards and legislation. Oversee contracts and suppliers, making sure safety comes first in everything we procure and deliver. Empower colleagues by supporting training and building fire safety awareness across the organisation. Play a critical role in fire investigations and develop smarter, safer policies and practices. Provide assurance on major projects, helping design and maintain world‑class, safe infrastructure. What We’re Looking For Membership or graduate status with the Institution of Fire Engineers (or equivalent). Experience in fire safety inspection, risk assessment, and training delivery. A solid grasp of UK fire safety legislation and codes of practice. Strong communication skills – able to influence, advise, and work with a wide range of stakeholders. Why Network Rail?
