About the role:
You will teach small groups of students with autism and behavioural needs, using tailored strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and assistive communication tools (iPads, visual schedules, and social stories) to promote engagement and self-expression.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP goals
Foster communication, social, and life skills
Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists
Create a positive, structured, and safe classroom environmentRequirements -
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching students with autism or complex needs
Enhanced Child and Adult DBS
Right to Work in the UK
