Care Worker – Oldham (Choices Homecare) We are inviting applications for the Care Worker role at Choices Homecare, a proud member of the Optimo Care Group. This position supports individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their home and community. Working Hours & Hours Flexibility Service runs 7 days a week between 07:00 and 22:00. We offer flexible zero‑hour contracts – you choose how many hours to work, with a minimum of 20 hours each week. All weekend days are included in your weekly hours. Location Oldham, United Kingdom Key Responsibilities Support individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing and toileting. Assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans. Prepare meals and help with eating and drinking when required. Promote independence and encourage residents to engage in daily living tasks. Build positive relationships with individuals and their families. Support emotional well‑being, recognising signs of distress or behavioural changes. Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home. Respect confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries. What You'll Need A caring, compassionate approach. A commitment to putting people first. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience preferred but not essential – full training is provided. UK driving licence and own vehicle (required for certain routes – we pay 30p per mile fuel allowance). Availability to work on weekends.
