Logistics Placement role at Nestlé Start date: 15th June 2026 Scheme duration: 12 months Salary: £25,125 per annum + excellent benefits Location: York What will you do? Joining Nestlé’s 12‑month Logistics Placement Scheme will give you fantastic exposure to how the world’s largest food and drink manufacturer transports raw materials and finished goods across the UK and Europe. You will be mentored by experienced professionals and develop logistics knowledge, problem‑solving and negotiation skills before you even finish university. Responsibilities Learn from expert mentors and work closely with them to understand transport load planning and sustainable cost‑management. Negotiate with suppliers, gaining hands‑on experience in achieving the right solutions for Nestlé. Manage daily operations, holding accountability for specific areas of day‑to‑day transport operations. Develop innovative solutions to meet transport deadlines and improve processes. Make impactful decisions that help shape the future of the Transport Hub. What will you learn? Understand industry challenges, including the impact of Brexit, wars, and pandemics. Sustainability: learn about Nestlé’s sustainability agenda and work on projects that reduce CO₂ emissions. Problem‑solving: apply your skills to real‑world challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. Eligibility Requirements You must have the right to work in the UK that is not time‑limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion. You should be in your penultimate year of study in any degree discipline, committed to the scheme and willing to learn.
