Base pay range We are currently looking for a new HR Administrator (internally known as People Administrator) to join Cambridge Education Group and help us Achieve More Are you passionate about people, detail-oriented, and ready to launch your career in HR? Cambridge Education Group (CEG) is seeking a proactive and friendly People Administrator to join our dynamic People Team. As a People Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and offboarding. You’ll be part of a diverse, expert team that values authenticity, innovation, and collaboration. This is a great opportunity to work and learn from a professional and diverse people team and obtain a solid foundation of experience in people administration with the opportunity to later progress in either HR or Payroll specialties. Key responsibilities Manage administrative tasks for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Administer new starter paperwork, pre-employment checks, references, and induction. Maintain and update employee records on our HRIS (iTrent), including contract changes, absence, and payroll. Support colleagues with queries via our ticketing system, phone, and email. Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure timely and accurate payments. Administer employee benefits and maintain personnel files in line with legal and company standards. Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive workplace culture. What we’re looking for GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above). Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); training provided. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and numeracy skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational ability. Friendly, professional, and self-motivated approach.
