About the Role:
As our SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality education for students with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with colleagues to provide tailored learning experiences, support inclusion, and promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.
Develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities tailored to the students' abilities.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists to support student progress.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Track and monitor the progress of students, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
Ensure that students feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their best.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of SEN provisions and best practices.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
A caring and patient approach to teaching.
