Job SummaryA rare and exciting opportunity to join our friendly team in Main Outpatients as a Band 5 Registered Nurse. An effective communicator, you will be expected to provide an efficient and effective service to all users of the department. You will have the opportunity to develop and practise a diverse set of clinical skills working alongside various specialties, including arterial vascular, ENT and plastics. This part‑time role includes working day shifts between Monday‑Friday (excluding bank holidays). You will work with a dynamic team of nurses and support staff providing excellent care to patients on the outpatient pathway.Please note that applications from temporary workers who have been engaged with the Trust for a minimum of 3 months are welcome.Main Duties of the JobFor the right candidate, this is an opportunity for a rewarding job that provides variety, including complex and simple wound care and assisting in our minor ops theatre with foam sclerotherapy and ENT minor procedures. Experience in wound dressings including an ability to perform compression bandaging would be advantageous, or a willingness to complete a competency pack for compression within an agreed set time frame. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of working in a demanding environment, where excellent patient‑focused skills and attention to detail are paramount.
