Regional Health & Safety Manager Sector – Rail / Aviation / Civil Engineering Location: Warrington North West An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our established and expanding business and take the health & safety lead for our North West region overseeing all HSQE related matters on a portfolio of projects and contracts. Business Unit You will be joining an experienced team of SHEQ professionals supporting business units projects and contracts across the UK in all matters relating Health Safety Quality & Environment. Our HSQE team consists of specialist advisors in a host of geographical and specialist subject areas. The Role As Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for the management of all Health and Safety related matters in the Scotland region reporting directly to the company Head of H&S. Your day to day duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to : Providing detailed input into all stages of projects from initial pre-qualification and tender stage through to contract delivery and completion. To undertake Site safety inspections To ensure that corrective actions arising from safety inspections are effectively addressed and closed out for continuous improvement of safe working practices. Liaison with client representatives Multiple stakeholder liaison including regulatory authorities Undertake accident and incident reporting incident investigation in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Facilitate and attend Health & Safety meetings Provide in house training Support the development and delivery of a consistent approach to Health and Safety across the business. Requirements To excel in this role you will have previous experience as Health & Safety Manager in a rail and civil engineering project or contract environment.
