The Role Starting in January 2026, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous Engineering and Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Planning and delivering high-quality lessons with a specific focus on Engineering principles, Systems & Control, and CAD/CAM. Inspiring the next generation of engineers through practical, hands‑on learning. Teaching relevant BTEC or GCSE/A-Level Engineering specifications (experience with software like SolidWorks, 2D Design, or Fusion 360 is highly desirable). Collaborating with the Science and Maths departments to promote cross-curricular STEM projects. Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workshop environment. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a teacher who is not just an educator, but an innovator. You should have: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK or an equivalent overseas qualification. A degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Strong subject knowledge in Engineering, including electronics, mechanisms, and pneumatics.
