Our vision is “Changing lives through education.” The Role We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet all learning outcomes Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices Work toward clear objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable) Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills Ability to work with diverse groups of people Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent Other Information Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Education and Training Industries: Education Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at GEDU Global Education by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
