This role is available across Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgery, Anaesthetics, Trauma & Orthopaedics, and Respiratory. Work ranges from a single shift to an extended post with evening, weekend, and on‑call duties. No guaranteed hours – work is on an "as and when" basis. Job Summary We are recruiting ST3+ grade doctors with full GMC registration and the appropriate level of competencies to perform the duties in the specialty in which they will be employed. Main Duties Liaise between nurses, clinicians, patients, and relatives to support safe care. Attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds, and related daily activities. Maintain high standards of professionalism, especially in relation to documentation. Arrive on time for the booked shift and be available for work from the arranged start time. Attend local induction as appropriate when working in new areas. Comply with Trust policies, including upholding the Trust's values and behaviours. Perform other duties commensurate with the post/grade as advised by the speciality clinical team. Qualifications Full GMC registration is required. Candidates must have achieved the appropriate level of competencies for the speciality in which they will be employed. About the Trust Our Trust serves approximately 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, North Cambridgeshire, and South Lincolnshire. We operate 530 beds across 33 wards and are building a new state‑of‑the‑art hospital. A new electronic patient record (EPR) will be introduced in 2026 to improve care.
