We also pioneer the use of artificial intelligence to develop and enhance our tools.About the roleOur Engineering Assistant is an ideal opportunity for a college leaver or early‑career professional who wants hands‑on learning, practical experience and the chance to travel across the UK. This varied, active role takes you from city centres to rural areas, festivals and customer locations to carry out mobile network testing. You’ll spend some days on site and some days back in the Horsham office assisting with data checks, uploading results and planning tasks.What you’ll be doingLearn to set up and operate mobile network test equipment to capture accurate performance data.Travel nationwide to support the team with drive testing, walk testing and indoor testing.Work in environments such as railways and mass transit systems (with specialist safety training).Take part in projects that sometimes require night‑time testing for accurate results.Develop practical skills in troubleshooting and maintaining advanced measurement systems.Help keep equipment organised, calibrated and ready for use.Gain exposure to new testing tools and techniques as you build experience.About youExcited to learn and keen to develop hands‑on technical skills.Flexible, adaptable and open to working unsociable hours when required.Happy to travel regularly across the UK to new places and environments.Practical problem solver with a positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.Confident working both independently and as part of a team.Physically fit and able to carry a 10kg backpack on testing routes for several hours.Able to pass a medical examination.Interested in technology and willing to learn about telecommunications.Residence in the UK for 5 years plus, so eligible to apply for SC clearance if required.Any exposure to mobile networks, telecoms, radio frequency or technical fieldwork is a bonus, but not essential.Full UK driving licence.Following your successful probationary periodPrivate health care (including hearing, sight and dental).Bike‑to‑Work salary sacrifice scheme.Interest‑free season ticket loan.We also haveGym, showers and games room.Charity and fundraising events.Free onsite parking at our Horsham office.Ready to start your career with us?If you’re excited by the opportunity to join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team and play a key role in delivering impactful solutions to global clients, we’d love to hear from you.Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent, GraduatePay: Up to £19,500.00 per yearAdditional benefitsAdditional leave.Company events.Company pension.Cycle to work scheme.Free parking.On‑site gym.On‑site parking.Private medical insurance.Referral programme.Sick pay.Transport links.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesTelecommunications #J-18808-Ljbffr
