Overview A technology company is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Scientist to design and scale AI-powered data products. The role involves applying advanced machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights from complex datasets. Candidates should have a Master’s or PhD. Responsibilities Design, build and ship production-grade agentic workflows in Python (ideally using LangGraph). Support CI/CD and infra for AI services (ideally using Docker, Cloud Run & GitHub Actions). Optimise the cost and performance of AI services. Run experiments (A/B testing, user studies) on AI services, analyse impact and feed insights back into the roadmap. Uphold code quality (typing, tests, linting), lead reviews and mentor teammates on best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and AI services. Qualifications BSc in a STEM subject. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AI/ML/Data Engineer. Experience in applying LLMs and developing, testing and deploying agentic systems in Python (ideally LangGraph). Deep knowledge of Python and relevant libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI, Pydantic, etc). Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining data pipelines (ideally using Airflow/Cloud Composer). Experience in deploying DevOps processes (GitHub, Docker, CI/CD in GitHub Actions, deploying in GCP).
