Position: Hydraulic Engineer Job ID: 3137/3 Location: Falmouth, Cornwall Rate/Salary: Depending on experience Type: Permanent HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Maritime Shipping, Energy and Subsea sectorsScroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.- visit: for a list of our vacancies.We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: Hydraulic Engineer Typically, this person will be a hands-on engineer involved in the installation, overhaul, and maintenance of hydraulic systems and components.Alongside this, there will be opportunities to work closely with senior engineers to quote, design, and plan projects providing a clear progression.Duties and responsibilities of the Hydraulic Engineer: Installation, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic components Hose registering, supply and installation Troubleshooting and fault-finding on hydraulic systems Work across office, workshop and site environments as required Support senior engineers to quote, design and plan engineering projects Assist with specifying and procuring parts and materials Create and contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and other project documentation Supervise and assist engineers during project delivery Liaise directly with suppliers and customers on technical matters Qualifications and requirements for the Hydraulic Engineer: Experience working on hydraulic systems or strong general engineering background Ability to follow and develop technical drawings Good understanding of business xsabvtc operations and customer relationships Willingness to learn and use internal software systems for quotes, orders and invoicing Good IT skills (Word, Excel etc.) Strong communication and organisational skills Conscientious, motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas as required Full UK driving licence and valid passport This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.
