French Language Tutor for English Speakers - Bristol, UKMode In-person (learner's home, your home, or public place)Location Bristol, UKContract type FreelancePosted 21 Nov 2025Closing 20 Dec 2025Status OpenFrench Pour Moi, a French language school for English-speaking individuals, is seeking a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) Teacher to teach one-to-one sessions in person in the Bristol area.This opportunity could be perfect for you if you are :Bilingual in English and FrenchStudent or graduate of language, literature or humanities studiesPassionate about teachingMissions:Prepare and deliver French lessons to English-speaking learners in a one-to-one format in person in Bristol, UK.Deliver lessons at the learner's home, your home, or a public location (e.g.café, coworking space, etc) based on learner preference.Assess learners' French level through tests.Adapt lessons to different levels, typically A0 to B1 DELFBriefly summarize lesson content after each session in a spreadsheetEvaluate learners periodicallyRequirements:A responsible and pedagogical individual passionate about educationSpeak French to a native-level and with excellent oral and written French skills and general culture knowledgeGood English level required, as most learners are British and beginners in FrenchTo be available to teach late afternoons / evening and some weekendsKnowledge of office software (Word/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, PDF)Work Hours and Duration:Several regular slots per week, in person 1- 2 hoursOrganize your lesson schedule with learners while respecting their constraintsStarting with approximately 2-6 hours per week, with potential to increase hours up to 15Flexible duration, but we’re seeking someone available for at least 12 monthsContract:Flexible contract for independent contractors (freelancing) - can be combined with other clients and student statusRemuneration:£20/hour taught in person in Bristol area (travel at own expense)10% annual bonus of total invoiced hours paid on contract anniversaryTo apply or get more information, send us a messageHow to applyTo apply for simply send us a brief email with:Your nameYour phone numberThe title of the job you are applying forA short message about why you are interested in the job #J-18808-Ljbffr
