Pricing Analyst – Commercial lines Are you a commercial minded insurance pricing professional who loves solving complex problems and bringing data to life? A London based global insurer are looking for a Pricing Analyst to help drive the evolution of their Commercial Insurance pricing capabilities. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where your models will directly influence underwriting decisions across Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, and more. Responsibilities Maintain and update UK pricing raters, collaborating with underwriting, actuarial, and offshore teams to refine pricing strategies. Support pricing modernisation by contributing to platform migrations and working with global/regional technology teams. Provide ad‑hoc analytical and underwriting support, ensuring pricing and products meet UK regulatory standards. Conduct portfolio and profitability analysis to identify performance trends across the UK market. Monitor monthly rate changes and track performance against targets and KPIs. Assist in actuarial development projects, including new product development and pricing initiatives. Work with data teams to maintain and improve dashboards for tracking key portfolio performance metrics. Qualifications Some actuarial pricing experience within the UK general insurance market. Proven experience in system‑integrated pricing models and collaborating with IT teams. Radar knowledge is essential. Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills, with adaptability to change.
