Job summary Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant in Restorative Dentistry (4PAs) for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work closely with medical and dental consultant colleagues, mainly supporting the restorative needs of head and neck cancer patients, including pre‑radiotherapy assessments and hypodontia. Main duties of the job The service offers a multidisciplinary‑team based approach in head and neck oncology and cleft lip and palate. The department works closely with consultants in the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Cancer services. The combined department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics is supported by a full‑time maxillofacial technician, who has specialised expertise in maxillofacial prostheses. CCST in Restorative Dentistry, or within six months of the award of CCST at the time of interview. Or a primary dental qualification with the GDC and eligibility for entry on the Specialist Register, or within six months of receipt of the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST). Local Information Contract: Fixed term, 12 months. Working pattern: Part‑time. Salary: £109,725 to £145,478 per year pro‑rata. Job location Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Rd, Cambridge, CB2 0QQ.
