About the roleAbout the role : Roblox's Senior Manager of Regional Education Policy will be responsible for executing the education policy strategy within a designated region. This role is crucial for integrating the Roblox platform into learning environments and is an integral part of our broader messaging to policymakers, NGOs, and stakeholders. By demonstrating the value of Roblox for consumer learning in primary and secondary education and higher education, this position directly contributes to our policy objectives. The senior manager will work with educational institutions, developers, and local policymakers to promote Roblox as an effective educational tool. The ideal candidate should be passionate about leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences and demonstrate the impact of our platform.This position reports to the Senior Director of Education Policy. You willImplement the overarching education policy strategy developed by the leadership team within a specific geographic region.Build and maintain relationships with regional partners, educational institutions, local government agencies, and non-profits to advocate for Roblox's inclusion in curricula.Work with partners to identify and support local developers to catalyze the creation of educational experiences on Roblox. Help these developers find sustainable promotional and monetization opportunities for their educational content.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that educational content and programs align with regional and national education standards as well as the latest technology advances in Roblox tooling and AI. Creators should leverage the generative AI tools offered by Roblox in their creations.Represent Roblox at regional conferences, workshops, and policy discussions to advocate for digital learning innovation.Collect and analyze data to demonstrate the educational impact of Roblox within the assigned region and support local policy advocacy efforts.Partner with Roblox teams to provide regional insights and ensure new educational features are effectively integrated into the platform.You haveProven experience in education policy and education technology with a focus on technology integration within schools or a specific regional education system.Strong understanding of the primary and secondary education and higher education landscape including curriculum standards and policy regulations specific to the designated region as well as an understanding of gaming and game-based learning.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with experience engaging with local educators, policymakers, and community leaders.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners to drive regional initiatives.A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.Required ExperienceSenior ManagerKey SkillsIVR, Program Management, Classroom Experience, Special Education, Adult Education, Salesforce, Teaching, Curriculum Development, CRM Software, Public Speaking, Supervising Experience, Toddler CareEmployment TypeFull TimeExperienceyearsVacancy1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
