Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust Biomedical Scientist Band 5/6 The closing date is 10 December 2025 Apply for this job Job summary Band 5/6 Biomedical Scientist This is an exciting opportunity for a well‑motivated and enthusiastic Band 5/6 Biomedical Scientist to support the Cellular Pathology Department within the South of Tyne Clinical Pathology Services. The post holder will contribute to the provision of the clinical laboratory service and support the team of Biomedical Scientists and support workers. The successful candidate must be committed to quality and improvement with a strong UKAS, and laboratory knowledge to enable them to contribute to the department moving forward. The successful candidate must be committed to quality and improvement and possess the following qualities: An innovative, forward‑looking approach Excellent interpersonal / communication skills Sound technical knowledge The necessary experience to undertake the challenging role The department has state‑of‑the‑art equipment and technology and prides itself on being forward thinking and innovative.
