Salary is competitive with Departments at our peer institutions worldwide and not less than £68,087 pa inclusive.Academic GroupThe Department of Management seeks to hire an outstanding Assistant Professor belonging to the newly established Governance, Environment, and Technology academic group. The group will be a world-leading centre of teaching and research in political economy, addressing pressing political and economic challenges of the 21st century.ResponsibilitiesPublish outstanding research in political economy and the substantive areas of governance, environment, or technology.Engage in high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Management.Participate in group, School and Department activities.QualificationsPhD in economics, a closely related social science discipline, or a relevant interdisciplinary field.Expertise and research interests in political economy and expertise in governance, environment, or technology.Clear, well-developed and viable strategy for future outstanding research with potential to result in world-leading publications.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Able to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Management.BenefitsCompetitive salary and market salary supplement.Occupational pension scheme.Research incentive scheme with personal reward options.Generous research leave (sabbatical) entitlement.Collegial faculty environment and excellent support, training and development opportunities.ApplicationTo apply for this post, please go to www.jobs.lse.ac.uk.
