We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Supervisor to join us as part of Families First National Reforms work. This pivotal role will help shape and strengthen help to families across Sandwell by providing expert supervision, guidance, and training to schools and partners within the children’s system. As a Peer Support Supervisor, you will: Facilitate monthly family-level supervision sessions for education and multi-agency partners. Provide expert advice and practical support to professionals, ensuring consistent application of thresholds and effective early help. Support colleagues in convening and leading Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings and acting as Lead Professional where needed. Deliver training sessions on thresholds and lead professional responsibilities. Promote collaborative working across the Family Help system and act as an ambassador for safeguarding and family support. Contribute to quality assurance and impact analysis to demonstrate positive outcomes for children and families. About You: Strong knowledge and experience of early help and family support systems. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide high support and constructive challenge to professionals. A commitment to a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational approach. Flexibility to travel across the borough as required. Why Join Us?
