This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and operations within a high growth business in Hampshire. This role requires a highly skilled professional to manage financial planning, reporting, and compliance. Client Details The hiring organisation is a well-established company in Hampshire known for its robust operations and professional approach. As a medium-sized business, they are committed to delivering excellence in their sector and fostering a collaborative work environment. Description Lead and develop a high-performing finance team Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll, encompassing all group entities and acquisitions. Oversee the month-end close process and support group consolidation activities. Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and ad hoc financial reports for the Board. Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, driving robust budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. Manage the external audit process and ensure timely production and filing of statutory accounts. Ensure full tax compliance across the group, supported by external tax advisors. Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate payments and timely filings. Partner with departmental leaders to align financial strategies with operational objectives. Support the CFO in preparing board presentations, investor materials, and executive-level summaries. Profile A successful Finance Director should have: A professional qualification in accounting or finance, ideally either ACA or ACCA Strong experience in financial management with proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies effectively. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. Leadership skills to manage and motivate a finance team. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and drive decisions. Job Offer Competitive salary in the range of £100,000 to £130,000 per annum. Car allowance. Private medical cover for the individual. 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Pension scheme with a 5% company contribution.
