Are you an experienced Design Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful projects for Severn Trent Water?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Manager to work on a freelance basis for a variety of projects based in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading water company on essential water infrastructure projects. Prior experience working directly with Severn Trent Water is essential for this role.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and managing the design process for water infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Overseeing the work of designers, engineers, and other design team members.
Ensuring designs are compliant with Severn Trent Water's specifications and industry standards.
Managing budgets, resources, and timelines for design activities.
Liaising with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring designs are optimized for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience as a Design Manager in the water industry, with demonstrable experience working directly with Severn Trent Water.
A strong understanding of water infrastructure design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
