Join Our Team as a School Cleaning Supervisor Please note the successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS check Location: Chesterfield, S40 JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Site Cleaning Supervisor to join one of our school settings. The Site Cleaning Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school premises. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to ensuring a conducive environment for children, staff, and visitors. Working Hours Working 3 hrs per day Monday to Friday (52 weeks per annum) Start/finish time 16:00pm to 19:00pm Competitive hourly rate of between £12.62 & 12.87 per hour Responsibilities Ensure that the daily cleaning of all areas is undertaken to a satisfactory standard by regular recorded inspection and monitoring. Ensure the company Health & Safety guidelines are implemented and adhered to at all times. Ensure on site equipment and machinery is kept in a clean and safe condition reporting any faults immediately to your line manager. Undertake administrative duties including the completion of log sheets and the ordering of materials and equipment. Assist your line manager in the training of cleaning operatives. Ensure all cleaning store rooms and sluice areas are kept clean and safe. Organise staff in instances of absences to cover all areas of the school. Liaise with the site management on all matters relating to cleaning. Deal with minor issues, then reporting any escalation of the issue to your line manager. Carry out other duties of a reasonable request. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in maintenance or related field is advantageous. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment.
