What you'll do:

As Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the overall operations of the workshop, overseeing and supporting the Control Valve Technicians within the business.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide the business and our customers with advanced skills to inspect, test, and repair our valves.
  • Be the subject matter expert for the function, inspection, and repair of our valves.
  • Support our customers with troubleshooting and root cause analysis on valves, ensuring efficient and effective service provision.
  • Provide our team and our customers with technical solutions to eliminate downtime of our product.
  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date and compliant.
  • Flexibility to mobilize to site or offshore in support of contracts or escalations.

What you'll need:

  • Apprenticeship in relevant discipline plus 5 years post qualification experience preferred or HNC/NVQ in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with repairing various valves, specifically Control / Relief / Isolation Valves and actuation, whether pneumatic or hydraulic is essential.
  • Ability to problem solve service-related issues and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Previous people management experience is essential to support and mentor our Control Valve Technicians effectively.
