OverviewMUSC Health | Chester, SC is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our collaborative, CRNA-only anesthesia team in Chester, SC. This role offers the opportunity to practice independently at the top of your license with support from MUSC Health Lancaster Anesthesia Team. The position features no call, no weekends, and no holidays, with scheduling options for 10s or 12s/8s and a $50,000 commencement bonus. A minimum of 1 year CRNA experience is required.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluationsDevelop and implement anesthetic plans tailored to patient needsAdminister regional, general, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)Perform and manage all aspects of regional anesthesia including:Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocksSpinalsMonitor patients intraoperatively and manage postoperative recoveryCollaborate with surgeons, proceduralists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient careParticipate in quality improvement and patient safety initiativesSchedule & CompensationFull-time positionFlexible scheduling of (10s) or (12s/8s), with no call and no holidaysCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, employer-funded retirement options with 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans available, CME allowance, malpractice coverage)50K commencement bonusQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia programCurrent certification as a CRNA by NBCRNAActive and unrestricted South Carolina APRN license (or eligibility)BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain)Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques is requiredMinimum 1 year of CRNA experienceAbout MUSC Health and ChesterChester, South Carolina, offers quaint small-town charm with access to nearby cities.
