We are looking to welcome applications for Consultants in Geriatric Medicine to join our friendly, dynamic and enthusiastic team based at York Hospital. We are recruiting for a retirement and are keen to develop our services wider especially into surgical liaison. Our department encompasses a number of specialist services, including Frailty Assessment and frailty SDEC, Specialist Hip Fracture and Orthopaedic Liaison, Parkinson’s Care, Dementia and Delirium unit, community rehabilitation and Hospital @Home. The posts are offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over four days and currently include an on-call commitment of 1 in 12 for frailty medicine. We are open to discuss any specific or specialised job plans that candidates may desire, including flexible/less than full time working.
