With a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and personal service, we’ve proudly supported public and private sector clients for over two decades.As part of the Apleona Group, a leading European real estate and facility management organisation, we combine local expertise with the strength and innovation of a major international group.Job SummaryDue to ongoing growth, Corrigenda is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated electrical engineer to carry out PPM, reactive and quoted electrical works in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.Your role will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, in line with current regulations and customer expectations.Key Responsibilities IncludeCarry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various lighting and power distribution systemsWorking at height to carry out planned maintenance repairs on lights in halls, lobby areas and streetlight etc.Completing remedial works that you identify at the PPM visit if possibleParticipation of the out of hours call out rotaWork flexible hours to suit business requirementsMaintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and general public at all timesAbility to work effectively on own or as part of team to ensure we meet our client contract expectationsTo collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areasA flexible approach to supporting other resources as requiredMinimum Requirements / QualificationsEssentialA suitable City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualificationNVQ Level 3 / AM2 in relevant Electrical discipline (or equivalent experience)18th EditionGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to achieve high levels of customer satisfactionAbility to work well on own or as part of teamBe able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentationFull UK driving licencePass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stationsDesirableTest & Inspection QualificationExperience in a similar role and working sectorsA basic knowledge and understanding of heating and ventilation controls would be an advantageBenefits include:Competitive SalaryAnnual Salary ReviewOvertime Opportunities23 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany Vehicle + Fuel CardCompany MobileFull UniformExtensive Learning & Development opportunities, including opportunities for progressionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeBupa CashplanEnrolment into our pension schemeRefer a friend reward scheme – worth £750 per referralCorrigenda are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
