Job Summary We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD experience to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence at HMS Sultan Medical Centre, Gosport, Hampshire. This is a locum role (30 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to MoD service personnel. Pay Rates PAYE – £60.10 per hour Umbrella – £69.12 per hour Job Description Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel. Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification. Inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson’s ability to undertake their duties. Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department. Attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required. Essential Requirements / Qualification / Experience Registration with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without restrictions. Current, satisfactory annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Council’s Good Medical Practice. In-date certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to Level 3 training. Previous Ministry of Defence experience. On the UK NHS Performers List with an NHS Performer number.
