IT Technician – Supporting Social Care Through Technology

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to support a multi-site social care organisation in North Yorkshire. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied technical work and wants to make a positive impact on frontline care services.

Location: Primarily North Yorkshire with travel across regional sites
Salary: £25,000–£28,000
Requirements: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality 1st/2nd line support and resolve technical issues across multiple sites.

*

Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

*

Deploy and secure desktops, laptops and mobile devices (Windows 11).

*

Support digital improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades.

*

Maintain clear technical documentation and user guides.

Essential Skills

*

Experience in IT support (1st/2nd line).

*

Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.

*

Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and hardware troubleshooting.

*

Clear communication with technical and non-technical users.

*

Logical, proactive problem-solving approach.

Desirable

*

IT certifications (Microsoft 365, CompTIA).

*

Basic networking knowledge.

*

Experience in social care, healthcare or charity environments.

*

Familiarity with mobile device management (e.g., Intune)
