NUVIA is a key part of this mission.Reporting to the Turnkey Configuration Team Lead, as our next Configuration Engineer, your main responsibility is to define and deliver proportionate oversight of the configuration management performed by HPC’s Turnkey supplier contracts.In this post, you'll ensure that all activities are performed in strict compliance with site license requirements, statutory regulations, and company and local directives. Your role is crucial in maintaining adherence to procedures and safety rules in the projects delivery of a safe and operable power station.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with a number of Turnkey contract suppliers, across the different HPC programmes, to understand their configuration management processes, influencing them where necessary to bring their procedures in line with HPCs’.You will use this knowledge to develop and implement configuration surveillance plans per contract by expanding on surveillance principles defined by the Team Lead.Work as part of a team to deliver the oversight & surveillance activities as noted above.Understand how the project can bring together the different contract configuration management systems, to have a single configuration management data base and thus single source of truth.Serve as the primary contact for a number of HPC Turnkey contracts on configuration topics, particularly as the technical liaison for Engineering Managers and Design Entities on configuration management.Execute all activities with strict adherence to site license requirements, statutory regulations, company and local directives, procedures and safety rules.Identify and develop opportunities to streamline the configuration management processes and procedures on the Turnkey scope, and wider project as necessary.Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the Plant Configuration Registers and List of Applicable Documents across a number of contracts.Key SkillsExperience in Configuration management.A degree in a relevant science or engineering field, or a strong technical background, is preferred.HPC context and understanding is desirable.Experience in managing engineering documentation, including Redline Drawings and Work Pack management.Strong organizational and coordination skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including with technical disciplines.Confident decision-making abilities, with the capability to escalate and resolve issues effectively.Able to travel to multiple office locations.Employee Benefits8.5% Pension Contribution & Life AssurancePrivate Medical SchemeEmployee Share SchemeSalary Sacrifice Schemes: Electrical Vehicles, Technology and Cycle to Work18 Weeks Full Maternity Pay (+21w SMP)25 days holiday (increasing to 28 days after 5 years’ service, 31 days after 10 years’ service)Option to buy, sell and carry over up to 5 days annual leave per yearIn partnership with trade unionsPersonal Development & Further Education SupportLong Service & Recognition AwardsFree Employee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible hybrid & agile workingNUVIA UK - a subsidiary of VINCI construction - is an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.NUVIA UK is a performance-driven company that is committed to the development of its people within a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.NUVIA UK is committed towards equality in employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
